Mark Jenkins Western Health & Social Care Trust There’s only one way of getting anyone to want to do anything – get that person to understand what needs to be done and to come up with a way to do it
Virginia Reid HSE West Coaching is about facilitating people to find solutions and achieve goals in a secure, confidential environment. Coaching helps identify different perspectives, and provides clarity in dealing with both everyday and unusual situations. As people learn about coaching and experience the value that coaching can bring, the principles of coaching can be applied to their everyday work and situations that arise. Coaching is a powerful management tool in dealing with ever-changing work environments.
Tina Gardiner HSE West Coaching allows us to create space and facilitate change in ourselves. It has been a very powerful resource for positive change in my life. As a coach I will meet the person where they’re at, with unconditional positive regard. Listen carefully to what they are saying and reflect back clearly so the coachee can gain clarity and perspective about the issue they are discussing.
Paula Quinn HSE West Coaching releases the potential that exists in each of us
Patrick Murray HSE West Patrick is not available at present to provide coaching.
Veronica Hanlon HSE DNE I believe the essence of coaching is 'unlocking a person's potential to maximise their own performance’. I believe it is about helping the client to learn, rather than teaching them. It is about helping them unpick a problem and consider options rather then presenting them with a solution.
Eilish McKeown HSE DNE Coaching partnering with clients in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires to maximise their personal and professional potential.
Anne Friel Western Health & Social Care Trust I believe that coaching provides protected time for an individual to focus on working through a specific project or challenge. It’s an opportunity for the coachee to get a clear focus on specific goals and to move forward with these. The coach helps by actively listening and asking ‘powerful’ questions. The coach and coachee meet as equals and the coach does not make any judgements.
Marie OHaire HSE West For me coaching is person centred and driven by the client’s needs. It involves an equal relationship when working as a coach and this is underpinned by the principles of respect, a professional manner and moving forward. In essence the coaching relationship is about unlocking the potential and resources an individual has and providing the reflective and safe space to do this. I am a firm believer in all things are possible and that humour and patience brings riches to those who want it.
