Name Organisation Coaching Philosophy
Irene Harris HSE DNE I genuinely believe coaching can make a positive difference to our personal and professional lives. Coaching provides clients with a confidential and safe space to realise and release their full potential.
Carmel Hoey HSE West I am a firm believer that each of us has the capability to reach our full potential, when enabled to undertake a journey of self-discovery that is future-focused.
Jeanette Hutton Western Health & Social Care Trust My personal philosophy of coaching took time to develop. I’m more of a practical person so I needed the extra time to develop my coaching philosophy which is “the pursuit of wisdom”. I am committed to my own values and beliefs and they have certainly been challenged on my coaching journey. My coaching philosophy is now well embedded and it has given me the courage and the knowledge to challenge those who come to me for coaching with both ethical and difficult dilemmas. My job is to unlock potential in pursuit of wisdom.
Jenny Johnston Southern Health & Social Care Trust Coaching is a reflective, explorative partnership. The real power of coaching is allowing you to work out your own approaches, make decisions & plan actions in a safe & nurturing environment, creating self awareness & inner confidence. Your coach can offer you as much challenge as you want and this can help provide an opportunity to look at issues differently or help you confront a challenge that you have not felt comfortable doing outside of coaching. Coaching helps you to move on, to progress, to use your skills & to develop to meet your full potential.
Sally Kelly HSCB / PHA / BSO Coaching enables people to take responsibility for themselves and for their personal development. At its simplest it is thinking with purpose. By taking the time to reflect on the way we think and how we do things, in a safe and positive space, we create opportunities for self-improvement. By taking ownership and acting on these, we can tackle issues in a realistic way that is relevant and acceptable within our own set of circumstances.
Maura Loftus HSE West Welcome to the start of a wonderful journey. Along this journey, you will discover a new insight into your actions and behaviours. By deepening your understanding you will increase your potential for success. This journey is taken with the coach but the client is the one who is in the driving seat. As coach, I will facilitate your learning and growth through support and challenge. At the end of the journey, you will be energised and inspired in your ability to get results through yourself and others.
Marita Magennis Southern Health & Social Care Trust Coaching is a safe, confidential opportunity to take time out to explore your individual approach to managing challenges which enables you to move forward and realise personal growth. Coaching is an opportunity to work with others to identify & achieve their own personal goals. Coaching is a powerful mechanism to help facilitate clear focus and goal achievement.
Eileen Maguire HSE DNE My coaching philosophy is based on my belief that while each individual holds the ultimate authority of their own situation, from time to time we can all benefit from having the opportunity to thrash out our various options, within a safe environment. Coaching provides a professional supportive relationship that enables us to stop, reflect, clarify our goals and elicit our own solutions including specific implementation strategies that are aligned with both our own beliefs and value systems and the principles and values of the organization, - all in a personally responsible and accountable manner.
Aldrina Magwood Southern Health & Social Care Trust Coaching is a safe, confidential opportunity to take time out to explore your individual approach to managing challenges that enables you to move forward and realise personal growth.
Deirdre Mahon Western Health & Social Care Trust My Philosophy of coaching can be summed up in this way P = P- I (ie Performance = Potential - (minus) Interference. My job as a coach is to help people reduce the impact of that interference. My personal philosophy of coaching is one where I believe that the coachee is an expert of their own lives. I believe that every baby is born with the potential to achieve anything but then life events get in their way. I believe that my job as a coach is to help clients identify the interference from life events and help them minimise the impact this has on their potential. To help people focus on ‘not who they have been’ but ‘who they would like to be’. Coaching is, for me, a human to human conversation, in a safe environment in which change happens. Coaching for me is about creating alternatives, discovering new things and developing the art of possibilities. I love the saying by Tony Robbins “All I need is within me now”
